Our cheese farm and clog factory near Volendam
De Simonehoeve is a traditional cheese farm and clog factory located near Volendam.
Come and visit us 365 days a year for a free guided tour and discover how cheese and clogs are made! In the shop you can have a go at walking on clogs, and taste the delicious cheeses. It is not necessary to make a reservation. We invite you to come and see how we make cheese and carve Dutch clogs the modern and traditional way. In the shop we can engrave wooden shoes for you with a name and/or decoration. You can also try on some clogs and taste our Gouda and Edam cheeses. From smoked cheese and nettle cheese to romantic garlic cheese, there are many flavours to discover.
A free guided tour is always possible during our opening hours, it is not necessary to make a reservation. For large groups, it is however advisable to make a reservation for a guided tour. Please contact us for more information.
