We are the Tol family!
Our story starts in the picturesque village of Katwoude, on the outskirts of Volendam, where we have been running our farm for generations. With the rising popularity of Volendam as a holiday destination, we began focusing on making farmhouse cheese in 1981. Out team (which now includes our sons) will be happy to share their decades of shared experience with you during a visit to our farm. Our clog makers will also tell you more about their craft, the Dutch tradition of making clogs, in our farm's clog factory.
Because hospitality and the passion for tasty, pure products runs through our veins, we have expanded the farm with a spacious restaurant and several rooms for groups. The rooms also provide space for workshops, in which you can actively experience what it is like to (i.a.) make cheese and clogs. This - and much more - can be done on location too, which is perfect for markets, parties and even on cruise ships.
