During this day programme, you will take a beautiful walk through Edam together with a local guide. Along the way, you will visit the Edam Museum, one of the oldest museums in North Holland which houses an unusual floating cellar. Please note that the Edam museum is closed on Mondays and open only on Saturday and Sunday afternoons in the winter months.
You can start the day with a cup of coffee and sweet treats at the Simonehoeve. After the walk in Edam, you can enjoy a hearty lunch and a guided tour of the cheese farm and clog factory. When making your reservation, you can choose from a variety of pastries and lunches. In addition, you can (optionally) end the day with coffee and biscuits.
The programme below is a standard day programme that can be adapted to your wishes. If desired, the walking tour can be replaced by a tour of the surrounding area in your own bus, in which case we will provide an expert local guide. To qualify for touroperator rates, the group size is minimum 20 persons. Please contact us to discuss the possibilities..
