Discover the distinct culture of this fishing village and learn about the inhabitants' way of life through the centuries. On the way, you will learn how they smoke eel at the smokehouse. A taste of this deep, rich smoked fish is included in the programme.

Start the day off in a relaxed manner with a cup of coffee and some sweat treats at the Simonehoeve. After the walk in Volendam, you can enjoy a fresh lunch and a tour of the cheese farm and clog factory. When making your reservation, you can choose from a variety of pastries and lunches.
